Phat celebrates the life of an icon
Submitted by: ChantalStaff at Brand Activation Company Phat, join the nation in mourning the death of Nelson Mandela today.
"Madiba touched the lives of so many and his immeasurable contribution to our country will never be forgotten," says Rico Wessels and Christopher de Bod, co-owners of the company.
"We at Phat will celebrate his life today.
"Our tag line, nothing influences people like people, is personified by Madiba. He was a leader of note.
"He understood that there is no better way to carry a message to people than through a person.
"He used his reputation to unite the nation. His dedication, enthusiasm, eloquence and charisma carried his messages to South Africans and indeed the world.
"We use his words, 'it is better to lead from behind and to put others in front, especially when you celebrate victory when nice things occur. You take the front line when there is danger. Then people will appreciate your leadership,' as inspiration.
"Thank you Madiba for all you have done for our nation".
