As the countdown starts in preparation for the 6th byMaletsatsi Wrap Party Picnic, announcements flow in making the 30th of November an extra special day in Joburg.
So who’s part of the celebrations?
MPL, an eminent hair care brand, has come on board as an associate partner for the November byMaletsatsi Wrap Party Picnic. In addition to sponsoring some products from their oils and hair foods range (for the event goodie bags), they will be offering free scalp assessments for attendees as well as showcasing their new product range! “MPL is more than just a haircare brand, it’s a friend that’s been there from your childhood making sure you never have to worry about having a bad hair day, from using the products to giving styling tips and keeping you up with the latest hair trends. We’ve been there from when byMaletsatsi launched and in other significant moments of Selloane’s hair journey with us, this partnership made perfect sense,” says Lerato Selepe, MPL Brand Manager.
Dear Bella Maxi, a sanitary pads brand made in South Africa, is once again the CSI partner for this event. As a way to give back, byMaletsatsi will be donating a portion the doek sales on the day to the sanitary pads drive aiming at ensuring that girls from impoverished homes get the much needed supplies. “Having run this initiative for a couple of years now, seeing the response from individuals and businesses willing to get involved in ensuring it’s growth and making a huge difference in girls' lives makes all efforts worth it. By partnering up with byMaletsatsi opens up yet another portal to us helping even more girls. This includes ensuring that we empower them to become caring, active and productive citizens” says Matefo M. Morakeng, Owner at Dear Bella. Attendees will have a chance to engage with Dear Bella and are welcomed to make any contributions.
The venue is on lockdown and Melville’s creative space 27 Boxes will host attendees for an afternoon of celebration. “I’m very excited to be hosting my upcoming event at 27 Boxes, it has the perfect blend for a party and a picnic. This also makes it a lot easier for attendees to get their picnic basket essentials in one place - eliminating the hassle of figuring out what to pack and going shopping’ says Selloane Maletsatsi Moleli, founder of the byMaletsatsi brand. “We pride ourselves in elevating creatives and entrepreneurs and this is yet another opportunity to show that,” adds Lauren-Kate Bydawell, 27 Boxes Center Manager.
This party wouldn’t be a party without announcements for entertainment, showcasing brands and sponsors! The official #WrapPartyNov19 DJ line up announcements will be made on Friday 15 November 2019, showcasing brands will be announced from Monday 18 November and sponsors announcements will be announced before the event. All announcements to be on the byMaletsatsi social media platforms.
