South Africa’s Finest Artists to Shine in Star-Studded Music Showcase in The Mother City This July

A powerhouse lineup of local music legends and rising stars will come together for a spectacular celebration of sound and soul as LRI Productions presents a top-tier Music Showcase on Saturday, 19 July 2025, at Fairbairn College, Goodwood.

Featuring Berry, Fagrie Isaacs, Sasha-Lee Davids, Robin Pieters, Karin Kortje, and the Sean de Vries Band, the event is a heartfelt tribute to South African talent and musical excellence. The show is designed to uplift, entertain, and remind Capetonians of the world-class artistry rooted in their own communities.

“This is not just a concert - it’s a celebration of our people, our voices, and our stories,” says Lyle Irwin, founder of LRI Productions. “We’ve curated a lineup that reflects the heart of Cape Town’s music scene, and we’re bringing it to a stage that feels like home.”

The event will blend soul, gospel, R&B, pop, and heartfelt ballads into a rich, emotionally charged musical experience. Backed by the versatile Sean de Vries Band, each performer will bring their signature style to a collaborative, high-energy production that promises both nostalgic moments and fresh surprises.

Expect goosebump-inducing harmonies, epic duets, heartfelt tributes, and a spirit of community that brings the crowd into every chorus.

BERRYBerenike “Berry” Trytsman became a household name when she won Idols SA Season 17, where her ability to transform every performance into a show-stopping moment earned her over 12 million votes and a legion of devoted fans. Known for her powerful range and raw emotional delivery, Berry blends pop, gospel, and soul into a captivating live experience. Beyond the stage, Berry is a vocal coach, content creator, and mother of four. She performs regularly alongside her husband, drummer Reiner Trytsman, and is now thriving as an independent artist building a meaningful and authentic career. FAGRIE ISAACSFagrie Isaacs is an undisputed gem in the Cape Town music community, celebrated for his deep gospel roots and commanding vocal style. SEAN DE VRIES BANDLed by accomplished musical director and pianist Sean de Vries, this talented ensemble has earned a name as one of Cape Town’s premier backing bands. Known for their musical tightness, creative arrangements, and genre-spanning capabilities, the Sean de Vries Band adapts to each artist’s style with finesse, elevating every performance. Sean is a passionate collaborator who works closely with artists to create memorable musical moments.
