Smooth R&B Sip ’n Paint - An Innovative Night Out in Cape Town this October, Brought to You by Stan Mars

Cape Town is about to witness a truly innovative fusion of music, art, and wellness with the city’s first Smooth R&B Sip ’n Paint event, brought to you by Stan Mars, one of Cape Town’s most celebrated radio personalities and entertainers.
Hosted at InuWell, one of Africa’s leading wellness and lifestyle venues, this unique experience promises an evening of creativity, relaxation, and soulful entertainment like no other.
Set for Saturday, 4 October 2025, the event invites guests to immerse themselves in an atmosphere where smooth R&B rhythms meet artistic expression. Attendees can paint, sip, and explore InuWell’s groundbreaking facilities, including VR Game Workout experiences, Cold Water Immersion therapy, Breathwork Immersive Rooms, and sensory-reality pods.
The event’s energy will be powered by Cape Town’s hottest DJs: Masoodah, Grant Lesch, Ashton Perenzee, and Uncle Sergus, spinning smooth R&B hits from start to finish. Leading the evening is Stan Mars, whose creative direction brings this concept to life.
“We wanted to create something for the more mature audience, people in their 30s, 40s, and 50s, who still love music and entertainment, but aren’t looking to stumble home at 3 a.m. anymore,” says Mars. “Instead, this is about an afternoon-to-evening vibe, great music, creativity, and a soulful atmosphere that fits into a balanced lifestyle.”
Guests will enjoy a fully equipped bar offering ciders, beers, wine, champagne, soft drinks, and water while taking in the inspiring ambience of one of Cape Town’s most exclusive venues. Tickets are available from R150 (General Access) or R300 (includes paints, canvas, and a welcome drink).
“This isn’t just a sip-and-paint. It’s a fusion of smooth R&B, live DJs, and creative expression, hosted at a world-class venue,” Mars adds. “It’s about creating a soulful, inclusive, and feel-good space where anyone, couples, colleagues, family, or friends can come together. No painting or singing skills required, just the desire to have a great time.”
And this is just the beginning. Following the Waterfront launch, the series will expand in December and throughout 2026 to high-end venues across Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, and Gqeberha.
