Acer AITV Brings the Smart Home Revolution to South Africa, Global First Launch of Acer’s New 4K Google TV Device

JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA – 30 October 2025 — Acer Africa has officially unveiled the Acer AITV, its first-ever 4K UHD Google TV streaming device, marking a global first for the brand as South Africa becomes the launch market for this cutting-edge smart entertainment product. “We ran a soft launch at Comicon Africa in September to gauge the interest and test a few concepts as our go-to-market campaign was building and the feedback was incredible!” said Glenn Du Toit, Country Manager Acer Africa.
