Samsung’s Free Joint Multi Air Conditioner Makes Summer Cooler
Written by: Save to InstapaperSamsung’s single outdoor air conditioning unit can power up to five indoor units
As temperatures soar across South Africa, Samsung Electronics has added to its range of air conditioners with the exceptionally efficient Free Joint Multi (FJM) air conditioning system. The FJM requires only one outdoor unit to power up to five indoor units, designed to give complete temperate control within residential and light commercial spaces.
“At Samsung, we keep innovating with our technology. The Samsung FJM air conditioning system is designed to use less outdoor space while maximising on indoor performance. It improves comfort levels by achieving an optimal temperature to maintain well-being,” says Michael McKechnie, Head of Digital Appliances at Samsung South Africa. “It is both neat and simple, and each unit can be tailored to fit different areas and optimise the individual space and shape of each room.”
FJM air conditioners run off a single outdoor unit, which means less noise pollution and outdoor clutter. They are designed with simplicity in mind, enhanced by Samsung’s inverter-driven technology. This decreases energy consumption even further while reducing noise and vibration levels, making them superbly energy efficient. The indoor units may be of a different style and capacity depending on the room or user’s requirements. Each unit may be controlled independently to achieve different temperatures, so the perfect ambience can be created in one room without having to run all five units at the same time. This reduces electricity consumption and cost whilst ensuring that the home temperature remains under the user’s control.
“Samsung is committed to inventing technology that positively impacts on our consumers’ lives and makes them more comfortable at home. Our FJM range of air conditioning solutions is designed to do exactly this, and we believe they will be a valuable addition to any home,” concludes McKechnie.
