Yvonne Chaka, PJ Powers and Jessie Duarte unite to thank our frontliners

With Covid-19 infection rates still climbing in South Africa (with 7 572 confirmed cases as of 06/05/2020) our frontline workers are doing all they can to help provide essential services during the pandemic.
We can all do our part to help keep their spirits and energy high, and feel valued for their hard work, by thanking them. Join in your neighbourhood “clap for our frontline workers” each evening, and nominating those healthcare professionals going above and beyond as part of the Sponsors of Brave campaign.
It also in this spirit of ubuntu and gratitude that three iconic South African women have united to thank our frontline workers who risk their lives every day to perform their essential jobs amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Yvonne Chaka, the songstress behind the popular track 'Umqombothi', PJ Powers, the singer of hits like 'Jabulani' and 'There is an Answer', and South African politician Jessie Duarte joined forces with each other, Adcock Ingram OTC and Sponsors of Brave to send a heartfelt 'thank you' to our frontline workers.
Taking to their mobile devices, the three icons filmed a short, but earnest thank you dedicated to our essential workers in hopes to uplift their spirits during this trying time.
