Blue Route Mall hosts Thrift For Good Market to support local charities

Cape Town, 6 March 2025 – Blue Route Mall is proud to announce the Thrift For Good Market, an exciting three-day event promoting sustainability and charitable giving. Taking place from 28 to 30 March 2025, this community-driven market will support three incredible charities: The Salvation Army, U-Turn and Help the Rural Child.

The Thrift For Good Market invites the public to explore a curated selection of pre-loved clothing, accessories and footwear all donated to benefit these organisations. By shopping at the market, visitors contribute directly to causes that uplift vulnerable individuals, empower communities and promote environmental responsibility through reuse and recycling.

“Our goal is to create a space where fashion meets philanthropy,” said Bronwyn Rabie, Marketing Manager at Blue Route Mall. “This event not only helps raise funds for these deserving charities but also promotes sustainable shopping habits, reducing waste and giving second-hand items a new life.”
