L’Opulence – Sandton’s finest meeting place by day and spirited lounge by night – has officially opened its doors - and appointed SIMONSAYS as the communications agency to ensure it’s regarded as one of Sandton’s finest culinary destinations. The agency has already initiated an influencer campaign, which is being supported with publicity and social media, as well as strategic above the line placements.

With décor inspired by the heights of Dubai – the ultimate lap of luxury – L’Opulence has been described as the epitome of indulgence in the heart of Sandton (Legacy Corner)! Rich navy and gold finishes create an environment suited to those with a particular preference for living an opulent lifestyle.

The L’Opulence menu is a tapas feast and this chic, simple and contemporary way of catering sets the lounge apart from traditional eateries. L’Opulence Executive Chef, Mark Hoberman, has created the perfect trendiest tapas menu for the venue – a veritable feast of sophisticated flavours, modern and varied options – complimented by fine wines.  With 23 years’ experience cooking in five star hotels and trendy fine dining restaurant kitchens locally and abroad, Hoberman has history in the industry and all the right credentials for the job!

Catering to those who will stop at nothing to ensure their evenings and weekends are spent immersed in the good life, L’Opulence will host smooth jazz sessions on Sundays. Monthly themed events are also on the cards with DJs and dazzling nights lined up – all of which will be defined by their innate elegance, sparkling champagne, and delicious food – with relaxing beats that fashion a backdrop that’s the epitome of cool! 

Not just about parties, the agency will help position the lounge - open Monday to Sunday, from midday to midnight – as the perfect setting for meetings, light lunches and a break from the mundane. Guests from the surrounding hotels are expected to frequent the venue which will cater to the eclectic tastes of the international set.

With touches of glitter and gold the L’Opulence hallmark, the agency is also assisting in scheduling private functions at the intimate venue and has lined-up fashion shoots, celebrity functions, and music video is also due to be shot in house.  With a private launch party that hosted a guest list that included a cosmopolitan mix of high profile celebrities, models, media, influencers, and entertainment moguls, this was the first of many A-list events for L’Opulence.
