DSC Attorneys Celebrate Record-Breaking Fundraiser for Woodside Special Care Centre
DSC Attorneys hosted its 10th annual golf day at the Durbanville Golf Club, raising an impressive R331,530 in aid of the Woodside Special Care Centre. Since its inception in 2013, the event has collectively raised over R2 million for this meaningful cause.
Supporting a Worthwhile Cause
Since 1976, the Woodside Special Care Centre has provided vital care for children and young adults with profound mental and physical disabilities. The funds raised will support the centre's efforts to improve the quality of life for approximately 80 full-time residents, offering services such as:
- 24-hour special care
- Physiotherapy
- Speech and language therapy
- Occupational therapy
- Self-help skills training
Highlights of the Day
- 30 teams competed, with the winning 4-ball team being Limecrop, consisting of Renso Nel, Robert Saunders, Jurie Swart, and Danie Raubenheimer.
- DSC Attorneys participated with two 4-ball teams, including the all-women “Bombsquad.”
- A R50,000 travel voucher raffle raised an additional R95,750, with Andy Weddell winning the prize.
