Pretoria, South Africa — Umbono Conferences & Events announced the postponement of the Data Privacy & Protection Conference, originally scheduled for 14 August 2025.

The event will now be held on January 28–29, 2026, at the Indaba Hotel in Fourways, Johannesburg. The decision to postpone is part of a strategic shift to enhance the format and deliver greater value to participants and stakeholders.

The conference will now transition from a traditional gathering to a curated, two-day experience with a dedicated expo element, designed to foster deeper engagement and offer stronger visibility for participating brands and institutions.
