TourismX™ Announces Inaugural Best Rated Airlines Edition

Passenger ratings place Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways and South Africa’s Airlink among the highest-rated airlines

Johannesburg - The inaugural TourismX™ Best Rated Airlines Edition has ranked leading domestic and international airlines based on verified online ratings and reviews submitted by passengers over the past six months.

The independent ranking provides a passenger-led view of airline reputation, using online customer ratings and reviews to identify the brands achieving the strongest levels of passenger approval across South Africa, Africa, Asia and the Middle East, Europe and the Americas.

The rankings include only domestic and airlines operating flights to and from South Africa. For international airlines, the ratings and reviews analysed include a proportion of passenger feedback originating from South Africa, ensuring that the rankings reflect the experiences and perceptions of passengers using these airlines in the South African market.

In the South African segment, Airlink achieved a Gold Ranking, while RwandAir took top honours among African airlines. In the Asian & Middle Eastern segment, Singapore Airlines secured a Platinum Ranking, recording the highest score across all airlines in the overall rankings.

In Europe, Swiss International Air Lines earned a Gold Ranking, while Delta Air Lines was the highest-rated carrier in the Americas, achieving a Bronze Ranking.
