Umbono Confirms New Dates for Data Privacy Conference as Registrations Remain Open for January 2026
Written by: Umbono Conferences and Events Save to Instapaper
Following our earlier announcement on the postponement of the Data Privacy & Protection Conference, Umbono Conferences & Events would like to remind all interested participants that registrations remain open.
The conference, which was initially scheduled for 14 August 2025, has been postponed to 28–29 January 2026. This strategic decision allows us to broaden the scope of participation, enhance regional collaboration, and deliver a more impactful and inclusive event.
We continue to receive strong interest from across the SADC region and beyond, and we encourage those who have not yet registered to take this opportunity to secure their spot.
What to Expect:
- Thought-provoking discussions on AI regulation, data protection, and ethical governance
- Insightful contributions from leading voices in technology, policy, and law
- Expanded regional and sectoral representation
- A dynamic platform for networking and knowledge-sharing
