African Directory Services Sponsors the Durban Beach Shelter with a Website!
Submitted by:African Directory Services (ADS) has sponsored the Durban Beach Shelter with a free website. ADS designed a brand new website and logo for the non-profit organization.
The Durban Beach Shelter was established in 1998 by Mr. Deen Mohamed. The primary focus of the shelter is to enhance the lives of the underprivileged and destitute through a variety of programs therefore assisting them in becoming independent and sustainable as well as giving them access to education and social welfare.
The question that ADS was faced with is, what do you give an organization that’s in dire need of funding? A website of course! Shane Hiralall a Director at African Directory Services said, “We’re living in a 'tech-era' where everything is online, instant and millions of people turn to the internet as the first source for information. The only way that people know an organization exists is if they are listed online. If it's not found on the net, chances are that many people are not knowledgeable about it and as a result of that, are not likely to donate to your cause.”
As the costs of basic necessities continue to rise, the expense of developing and maintaining a website is a luxury for Charity Organizations. This is why African Directory Services took the decision to develop and host a brand new website for the Durban Beach Shelter.
