Fans of the hugely popular TV reality talent series, SA Idols, will be thrilled to hear that Limpopo born Mmatema Moremi, a top two finalist in the 2015 competition will perform live for her fans this month. The emerging singer, who garnered a massive following of fans in the competition last year, will light up the stage with her Mmatema Brings it Home show at Jembe Tavern at Meropa on 17 June 2016.
The young starlet, who many thought would win the competition and become the first black female winner of SA Idols, is pursuing her musical career with gusto. She has been performing at gigs across the country and has also released her debut single “Because Of You”.
Fans can look forward to a super show by this talented young singer. She will perform a variety of cover songs as well as her own material. Sonke Mazibuko, a top three finalist of SA Idols Season 09, will be the supporting act for Mmatema.
