As part of Kurland Hotel’s extensive refurbishment during 2011, the Estate is now proud to present its new restaurant, ‘Katarina’s’, named after the owner’s, Di and Peter Behr’s daughter, which offers a light yet extensive bistro style menu.
Seating up to 50 guests inside and 50 on the veranda, Katarina’s is open for lunch and dinner from Monday to Saturday and closed on Sunday evening.The 200 sqm restaurant welcomes resident and non resident guests.
Guests have the option to dine inside or alfresco on the veranda or merely order a drink from the ‘French bar’ and relax in front of the log fire in the lounge area.
Due to its state-of-the-art kitchen, designed by Executive Chef Leon Coetzee, Katarina’s is also available for boutique conferencing, special occasions and is an ideal location for wedding receptions due to the unsurpassed views of the mountains – ideal for photo shoots.
The décor and design was conceptualised by Di Behr and Glenda Lederle who wanted to emphasise a tranquil, informal dining atmosphere while enjoying the benefits of outdoor living.
