Fish Eagle Café Brings Back Sunday Buffet Lunch by Popular Demand…in Time for Father’s Day!

The much-loved Sunday Buffet Lunch is officially back at Fish Eagle Café, located at Crocworld Adventure & Conservation Centre in Scottburgh.
This KZN South Coast tradition is returning after popular demand from visitors eager to enjoy a wholesome Sunday meal in a beautiful setting – with a special Father’s Day buffet planned for Sunday, 21 June!
“This is something our guests have been asking for, and we are thrilled to bring back the much-anticipated Sunday Buffet Lunch,” said Crocworld Adventure & Conservation Centre Manager, Susan Badat.
“The return of this tradition gives us the chance to welcome back local families and visiting guests to Fish Eagle Café, with winter the ideal time to also spot migrating whales and the Sardine Run from the deck!”
Badat added that the café continues to grow its offering seasonal specials and curated experiences – including the upcoming Solstice Race special and Sip & Paint Event:

Father’s Day Special Buffet on 21 June 2026
To celebrate Father’s Day, Fish Eagle Café will host a dedicated buffet experience featuring a hearty seasonal menu designed for the occasion.
The cost is R200 for adults and R120 for children (4 to 12 years).
Children under 4 order from the kiddies menu.
No takeaways allowed.

Creamy mussel pot | Hake fillet with tartar sauce | Bread rolls | Potato salad | Greek salad
Main Course:
Lamb roast | Chicken curry | Rice | Roasted potatoes | Cheesy cauliflower and broccoli bake | Caramelised butternut

Strawberry cheesecake with vanilla ice cream

The Sunday buffet will be served weekly from 11am to 3pm at Fish Eagle Café, Crocworld Conservation Centre, at a cost of R180 per adult, and R100 for children (4 to 12 years).

Solstice Race Specials on 20 June 2026
The buffet relaunch comes as Fish Eagle Café prepares for a packed calendar of experiences, including the upcoming Renishaw Solstice Race on 20 June 2026, where the café will host special race-day food offerings for athletes, families, and spectators enjoying access to Crocworld’s trails and facilities.
This includes a R64 Early Bird Breakfast, R40 Boerewors Roll, R50 Bacon and Egg Roll, R89 Beef or Crumbed Chicken Burger and Chips, and a R99 Chicken Salad, among many others!
Sip & Paint Event on 11 July 2026
Looking ahead, the café will also host an elegant Sip & Paint Event, taking place from 4pm to 7pm at a cost of R300 per person.
The experience will include wine tasting, finger snacks, and painting on canvas in a relaxed coastal atmosphere overlooking the ocean.
Guests can expect a variety of wine tastings and finger snacks for ticket holders, while the café’s full menu will remain available for walk-in visitors.

Crocworld Adventure & Conservation Centre forms part of the 1,300-hectare Renishaw Coastal Precinct (RCP), which consists of lifestyle developments, Renishaw Hills and the newly launched Restilridge Farm Estate.
Further plans for the precinct include a private school, hospital, recreational facilities, shopping centre, hotel, and light industrial zone with 80% of the land preserved as conservation space.
