Hotel Izulu to Host Wine Market
Submitted by: The P.R TeamThe 5-star Hotel Izulu in Ballito, in conjunction with De Grendal Wines will host its monthly Wine Market on Sunday, 6 May 2012. Guests can enjoy a day of food and wine pairing from 12:00 onwards, at a cost of R150.00 per person, while being entertained by the band ‘Afritude’.
Some of the food and wine pairing options are - Smoked salmon parcels filled with shrimp and avocado paired with De Grendel Methode Cap Classique 2009 and smoked chicken with mango salsa rolled in rice paper paired with De Grendel Sauvignon Blanc 2011.
Further options include - Prawns with chilli sea salt and pepper paired with De Grendel Rose 2011, gorgonzola and red onion tart paired with De Grendel Winifred White Blend 2010 or deboned lamb shank in mini yorkshire pudding paired with De Grendel Merlot 2008.
Kid’s selection includes burgers, hot dogs and ice cream cones. Hotel Izulu’s Deli will also offer soup, cheese boards, breads, biscuits and Hotel Izulu’s infamous fudge.
All of the wines are available for purchase at a special reduced price by the bottle. Wine chillers are also available to purchase at R79 each.
