Hotel Izulu joins with Protea Wines for a festive wine market

Protea Wines, situated in the heart of Franschhoek, will showcase its incredible wine collection at the latest festive wine market on Sunday 21 December 2014 at Hotel Izulu in Ballito. The perfect prelude for the festivities planned at Hotel Izulu this season.
Hotel Izulu’s Executive Chef, Jennifer du Toit, will prepare some of her signature dishes specifically selected to complement the Protea wine selection.
Guests at this month’s wine market can look forward to Thai Chicken Wraps paired with Protea Sauvignon Blanc or a Prawn and Roasted Nectarine Salad paired with Protea Chardonnay. Another mouth-watering option is the Smoked Ham Hock and Butterbean Casserole paired with Protea Chenin Blanc or Chargrilled Kudu Pasta Salad paired with Protea Merlot, and lastly Tandoori Beef Skewers paired with Protea Shiraz.
Tickets are R195 for adults and children (3-16) R70, which will include a cold drink, a child’s meal and ice cream. The well-known pancake stall will also be available too!
All guests can look forward to live music by Afritude throughout the day. Featured wines and wine chillers will be on sale during the wine market.
