Group 1 Hyundai Launches Facebook Friday Initiative

Group 1 Hyundai has announced the launch its Facebook Friday initiative on its Group 1 Hyundai Facebook page. 

Johannesburg, South Africa 07 July 2013: Group 1 Hyundai has (http://www.group1-hyundai.co.za/) unveiled plans to launch a Facebook Friday initiative on its branded Facebook Page. 

From the beginning of July 2013 Group 1 Hyundai in conjunction with its online marketing agency, WSI Cape Town, will be promoting Facebook Fridays on its official Facebook page. This promotion will include weekly Hyundai vehicle specials launched exclusively on this social media channel and available to all Group 1 Facebook followers. The Dealer Principle of the Group 1 Hyundai Midrand branch, Mr Willem Fourie, had this to say about the first step of their expanded and integrated online marketing plan:

“As a company Group 1 has been moving into the online market for a number of years now, but it was not until this year (2013) that a concerted effort has been made to highlight our brand in social media channels. Facebook is to be our initial step into marketing to Hyundai fans where and when they want to be reached. It is to be in no way invasive, but will instead remind people that a Hyundai vehicle from Group 1 will keep them satisfied not just because of the quality of the vehicle, but because of the quality of service that will always be offered by our Hyundai dealerships in Midrand and Knysna.” He further went on to say that “we will be launching weekly price and vehicle advertising that will be exclusive to our Facebook social media channel every Friday morning. This will give our Facebook fans a seven day period in which they can contact us regarding the test driving and purchasing of that specific Hyundai vehicle at that given price.”
