Grande Provence Showcase Season in Franschhoek

The renowned Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate, Franschhoek, part of Huka Retreats, proudly presents various activities during the coming months.

Franschhoek Winter Wines - Visit the Franschhoek Motor Museum, L’Ormarins Estate on 4 August for Franschhoek Winter Wines. More than 20 of the valley’s finest wineries will be showcased and wine lovers can meet the winemakers. The festival opens from 12pm - 5pm and tickets cost R180 per person, which includes a tasting of all the wines on show. For tickets www.webtickets.co.za booking is essential.

Franschhoek Mystery Weekend during August and September - For R1, 850 per couple, for the weekend, you can experience the finest that Franschhoek offers. The Franschhoek Wine Valley staff will randomly select a range of Franschhoek experiences to create your couple’s Mystery Weekend Package. You will have no idea where you’re staying, eating or what other experiences are in store for you.

Every Franschhoek Mystery Weekend Package includes, two nights accommodation (two people sharing) at one of the 4 or 5 star hotels, B&B’s or guesthouses, a lunch or dinner experience (for two), two breakfasts (for two), two tickets to The Screening Room at Le Quartier Français, a voucher (per couple) to use at one of the participating retail outlets, a wine tasting (per couple) at a participating wine farm and one other surprise Franschhoek experience per couple.

The Franschhoek Village Market re-opens on Saturday, 6 October 2012.  Grande Provence will have a stand to showcase Grande Provence and Angels Tears Wines along with the other Estate offerings.
