AfriSam awards property developer a brand new bakkie

On Thursday 09 September 2021, AfriSam handed over a brand new bakkie to Mr Tumelo Molosioa after he become the grand winner of the “Get Lucky Win a Bakkie Promotion” 2021 competition. “The price giving was held at DIY Superstore, Eksteen, Bloemfontein, where he makes regular purchase of cement for his building projects. Molosioa was blown away when he learnt that he won a brand-new Toyota Hilux Bakkie from AfriSam. The property developer bought over 200 AfriSam All-Purpose Cement bags to build a block of flats.

“I would like to thank AfriSam for awarding me with such a beautiful prize and for being outstanding in service delivery, quality and strength. I was hit hard by Covid-19; a few people that were renting my accommodation lost jobs and left the units vacant. I had no income for some months and after all the hardships, I take this bakkie as a reward to lighten the weight,” he said jubilantly.

Molosioa is the founder of Relisec Properties a residential property developing company, which is currently building a block of flats for accommodation and office use in the Mangaung township of Bloemfontein.

“At AfriSam, we are grateful that the products we manufacture make a very real difference in our country. But for us it is so much more than just our products or the structures that our products are used for, it is about the possibilities that our products create. We believe in creating concrete possibilities and for Tumelo, we hope he continues to build bigger, stronger, lasting houses for our people”, says Michelle Reid, Advertising and Promotions Specialist at AfriSam.

This new promotion started in May and came to an end on the 31st of August 2021. Adding to Molosioa’s grand prize, 96 other South Africans walked away with instant prizes that ranged from fuel, grocery, building to data vouchers. 

Some of the Cheetah Rugby players, who are sponsored by Toyota, attended the handover to congratulate Molosioa on his new Toyota Hilux.
