Zuxole Ngetu Strengthens Strategic Project Leadership and Organisational Capability with a Continuing Professional Development Diploma in Project Management in Practice in May 2026
In May 2026, Zuxole Ngetu, professionally known as Lolo Vandal, successfully completed the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Diploma in Project Management in Practice through Alison, marking a significant advancement in his professional development and expanding his capabilities in project leadership, organisational coordination and strategic execution.
The programme provided Zuxole with practical and structured knowledge of how project management is applied to achieve successful outcomes within professional and organisational environments. Through his studies, he developed a deeper understanding of the processes involved in transforming objectives into structured projects, coordinating resources, managing responsibilities, addressing risks and ensuring that activities remain aligned with defined goals.
A central component of the learning experience was understanding how effective project management is implemented in practice. Zuxole gained valuable insight into the importance of strategic planning, resource allocation, communication, stakeholder coordination, risk management, teamwork and performance monitoring. These competencies have strengthened his ability to understand projects not simply as individual assignments, but as structured organisational initiatives requiring effective leadership and disciplined execution.
The knowledge gained through the programme has further equipped Zuxole to participate in and contribute to projects involving larger institutions, organisations and multidisciplinary teams. His developing project-management capabilities provide a foundation for working within environments where successful outcomes depend on coordination between people, resources, timelines and organisational objectives.
The programme has also broadened Zuxole's perspective on leadership and executive responsibility. Effective project management requires many of the competencies associated with senior organisational leadership, including strategic thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, resource management and the ability to align people around common objectives. These capabilities can therefore contribute to his readiness to assume greater managerial and leadership responsibilities in the future, including executive-level roles.
A further milestone in this achievement was the Graduation Ceremony held on 24 June 2026, which formally commemorated the completion of the programme. The ceremony provided an opportunity to recognise graduates and reflect on their commitment to continued professional learning and development. The occasion also featured an address by Mike Feerick, CEO and Founder of Alison, adding further significance to the graduation proceedings.
For Zuxole, the graduation represented more than the completion of another professional-development programme. It formed part of a broader journey of continuous learning, capability development and professional advancement. By expanding his knowledge across complementary disciplines, he is developing a more versatile professional profile capable of adapting to different organisational environments and contributing to projects with increasingly complex requirements.
The completion of the programme in May 2026, followed by the graduation ceremony in June 2026, adds project management and strategic execution to Zuxole Ngetu's expanding professional capabilities. It strengthens his foundation for working on projects, coordinating initiatives, supporting organisational objectives and taking on responsibilities that require both practical execution and strategic judgement.
As he continues his professional journey, the knowledge acquired through the programme positions Zuxole to approach future opportunities with a stronger understanding of project governance, organisational performance, leadership and results-driven execution. His continued investment in professional development reflects an ambition to build the competencies required to contribute meaningfully to organisations and projects operating within increasingly complex and competitive environments.
