Date Change Announcement: Africa’s First Integrated Creative Summit Moves to 27–29 May 2026

Johannesburg, South Africa — Africa Cinegear World Expo has officially announced new dates for its inaugural Integrated Creative Summit, now set to take place from 27–29 May 2026 at the Sandton Convention Centre.

Originally scheduled for February, the shift allows for expanded participation, greater industry alignment, and a more impactful continental gathering.

The summit remains a landmark moment for Africa’s creative industries, bringing together podcasters, content creators, filmmakers, broadcasters, producers, and emerging tech innovators under one roof for the first time in a fully integrated ecosystem.

Hosted in the heart of Africa’s richest square mile, Cinegear World marks a new era for collaboration across the full value chain — from idea, to production, to post-production, to distribution, and the rapidly growing creator economy.

While South Africa hosts respected film festivals, media conferences, and digital innovation showcases, none have fully integrated the industries shaping Africa’s creative future.

Cinegear World continues to fill this critical gap with four major verticals running simultaneously:
