R60 000 raised for Malabar Home for the Aged

The Malabar Home for the Aged received a cheque of R60 000 at the PE Algoa Cares Charity Golf Day cheque handover.
Dave Tiltmann, the MD of Algoa FM handed the cheque to the chairman of Malabar Home for the Aged, Mogan Segadavan, who accepted it on behalf of the home.
The handover happened at the Malabar Home for the Aged on Tuesday 29 August.
“This money will be used to continue the renovations of the the home, so we can accommodate the waiting list of retirees who would like to live here,” says Segadavan.
“I’d like to thank Algoa FM on behalf of the home. Thanks to the the efforts of your golf day, a few more are able to call this place home.”
Renovations to the home can now be completed, to better utilize certain areas of the home, so additional residents can be accommodated.
