Flip the Market, a new digital title under the iOlogue Media banner, officially launched today. The platform brings a fresh editorial approach to the world of finance, markets and emerging technology, prioritising clarity, relevance and a distinctly human voice.
While not positioned as a financial advisory outlet, Flip the Market explores how money, digital tools, crypto and innovation intersect with everyday life. Its tone is personal, unpretentious and curious. The content is aimed at younger adults, but also resonates with anyone looking for a break from jargon-heavy or clickbait material.
“I saw a gap for smart, accessible content that speaks to a younger, modern reader, but also to anyone interested in having real humans behind the content,” said Anchen Coetzee, founder and CEO of iOlogue Media. “This isn’t content written for likes and clicks. It’s written by an editor who care about the subject and about the reader. Blog-style when needed, first-person when it fits, but always with substance.”
The title is edited by Liezel Thorne (Liz), who has been part of the iOlogue Media team since 2019. A seasoned writer with a long-standing interest in financial markets, crypto and tech trends, Thorne has written millions of words across these subjects. Her appointment as editor brings both experience and passion to the role.
“I’m very excited to be part of this new venture,” said Thorne. “We’ve built something that feels fresh and honest. It’s content that doesn’t pretend to know everything but leaves space for real curiosity. I believe it’s going to resonate with a lot of people.”
Flip the Market joins iOlogue Media’s growing list of niche and regional titles, including De Kaap Echo, Karoo Times and The Travel Thread. While each brand serves its own readership, they share a focus on real content created by real people, with quality, integrity and consistency at the core.
At launch, Flip the Market will cover a broad range of topics, including:
- stock and forex trends;
- cryptocurrency developments;
- mobile and AI tools;
- gaming, gadgets and digital lifestyle;
- profiles of innovators shaping tomorrow’s markets.
The publication is now live at https://flipthemarket.co.za/. Follow Flip the Market on Facebook and X for updates.
