1st for Women says that it was rated second for Service Excellence in the Ask Afrika Orange Index, a benchmark for customer satisfaction in South Africa. Running since 2001, the index is the broadest and most widely referenced service excellence benchmark in South Africa, measuring various elements, including customer satisfaction, emotional satisfaction and loyalty.
Adding to these accolades, the business says that it was honoured with a Gold Stevie® Award at the 2024 Stevie Awards in New York City. The award was for the Communications or PR Campaign of the Year under the category Integration of Traditional and New Media for the 'Can't Take My Fearless' campaign. This accolade is a testament to 1st for Women's creative approach to engaging its audience through a mix of traditional and digital media.
The team received another win at the New Generation Awards in September when 1st for Women received the Silver Award for Most Innovative App Developed by a Corporate. This award was based on the app's advanced features and functionality, recognised by an independent panel of judges. The New Generation Awards celebrate the best in digital and social media, integrated marketing and the online tech sector, with over 500 submissions from leading corporates and agencies across South Africa, 1st for Women says.
"We're deeply honoured by these awards, which underscore the incredible work of our team and the loyalty of our customers," says Seugnette van Wyngaard, Head of 1st for Women.
"Being recognised for our campaign efforts, innovation and service excellence is a reflection of our unwavering commitment to understanding and meeting the unique needs of women in South Africa. Our mission is to empower women, and these accolades confirm that we are making a meaningful impact. This is just the beginning — the future is fearless and we will continue to break new ground," van Wyngaard concludes.
