Written by: TNW Save to Instapaper
Ghana’s Transport Minister, Joseph Bukari Nikpe, has revealed plans to connect the terminals at Kotoka International Airport, to reduce congestion at the airport.
According to News Ghana, Nikpe made the announcement at the Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee, explaining that the project would see the construction of a connecting concourse linking Terminals 2 and 3 this year.
The connecting concourse will redistribute passenger traffic and allow travellers to use both terminals based on operational capacity. The upgrade will see Terminal 2 turn into a full-service facility handling arrivals and departures.
