SAA And CemAir Seal Game Changing Codeshare Strengthening Domestic Connectivity Across South Africa
Written by: TNW Save to Instapaper
SAA and CemAir has signed what they have described as a “landmark codeshare partnership” to increase connectivity between major cities and niche destinations not previously served by SAA’s network.
Both airlines will place their codes on each other’s flights allowing for integrated booking across platforms, single-ticket itineraries and baggage through-check.
“This partnership is a game-changer for domestic travel in South Africa. Unlike our international codeshares, this agreement focuses on connecting major cities with regional and leisure destinations that were previously beyond SAA’s reach,” said John Lamola, Group CEO of SAA.
Ticket sales for codeshare flights will open on January 26.
