Rogers, though, will continue hosting HOT 102.7FM's popular Friday night sports talk show, HOT Sport 60 with Betway, which is on air from 18:00 to 19:00 every Friday evening, says the radio station.
Ndoro has been in broadcasting for over 30 years, having started at Radio Bop in 1994 before moving on to the likes of Kaya FM, 947, SuperSport and eNCA. He previously hosted a weekend music show for HOT 102.7FM, before leaving to take up an opportunity through his private business interests, adds the radio station.
HOT 102.7FM says Ndoro will make up a new afternoon drive team with show host Darren Scott and Head of News and experienced journalist, Tara Penny.
"We were disappointed to lose Tony when he left us, so when Dylan announced his intention to leave the show, it presented us with an opportunity to see if we could get Tony back," says Lloyd Madurai, Managing Director of HOT 102.7FM. "We are sad to see Dylan go, but are happy that we've still got him fronting HOT Sport 60 with Betway, whilst Tony will bring a different energy to The Just Plain Drive show, and I'm looking forward to seeing what he, Darren and Tara can produce."
The Just Plain Afternoon Drive show is on HOT 102.7FM between 15:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday, and Ndoro's appointment is the latest on-air change at the station, with Penny also recently bolstering her news team with the addition of experienced news broadcasters Reuben Goldberg and Gareth Edwards, says the radio station.
HOT 102.7FM concludes that it's been a busy few months at the station, with the station celebrating three more shortlist nominations at the New York Festivals Radio Awards whilst the station is fresh off successful media partnerships with the likes of Big Concerts.
