Intl. Weloveu Foundation Hosts 750th Worldwide Blood Drive
Submitted by: Media Update Editor
WeLoveU Foundation says it hosts the 'Worldwide One-Two Blood Drive' campaign with the meaning: A small action of love practised by one person spreads over to two persons, four persons and beyond, forming a virtuous cycle of good deeds that calls for the participation of all people in saving lives around the world.
This movement reflects the group's love for saving more lives through blood donations. The group carries out voluntary blood donation events and campaigns worldwide to enhance the community's awareness of the value and need for blood donations, says the foundation.
Relebohile Matsimbi, Donor Relations Practitioner at SANBS for Egoli Central, commended the foundation for its invaluable contribution to society. "By donating your blood, you are giving someone else another opportunity to be with their loved ones, someone else more time on this earth and someone else to fulfil their dreams in life."
Ward 32 Councillor, Dimakatso Moloisane, concludes, "Thank you so much for coming and for the impact you make. As a young person myself, I'm so happy to see so many young people here today. I hope we can reach many young people out there to follow in your footsteps."
