Orms Announces Golive! 2025
Submitted by: Media Update Editor
GoLive! is aimed at photographers, videographers, content creators, or all-around tech enthusiasts. This year Orms says it offers attendees the opportunity to take their content game to the next level with tips and tricks to turn their content into business. The event will feature the best in class for leading camera brands and gear.
Orms says it has a host of brand ambassadors who will be at the event, such as Chris Rogers, Josh Rubin and Dan Mace.
The event says that attendees will get the opportunity to engage, learn and get inspired by industry greats while they:
- get their hands on the latest gear, from cameras to drones and more
- experience exclusive sneak peeks and giveaways, and
- get exclusive gear deals launching on the day.
According to the event, content-led activation spaces hosted by top brands and led by industry leaders to deliver maximum impact for creators at every level include:
- Master the art of visual storytelling with Ray Van Breda and Alan Sayers as they share expert insights on GFX Medium format, vlogging and commercial shoots — plus live demos, hands-on experience and advice in real-time at the FujiFilm stand.
- Join podcasters Josh Rubin and Themba Robin as they dive into audio, storytelling and content creation — featuring tips, live Q&A and real-world insights on mastering sound and engaging audiences.
- Meet Matt Alexander, Mike Eloff and Carlinn Meyer at the Sony Activation Space for a hands-on content creation experience where participants will master short-form video with a live product review challenge and get the low-down on brand deals with expert tips.
- Step into the Blackmagic Activation Space where participants will learn from conservation filmmaker Sean Viljoen as he breaks down the PYXIS camera system and DaVinci Resolve workflow. Participants will be able to test the latest Blackmagic gear and elevate their filmmaking.
- Join the party at the DJI Activations Space with disco balls, live DJs and a lush garden that sets the stage for festival vibes mixed with next-gen content creation. Play with the latest DJI gear and learn pro drone, gimbal and storytelling techniques with adventure filmmaker Luke Bell.
And to top it off, creators will have a chance to engage and learn from the Stub Team, a local fintech business, building super simple accounting for South African entrepreneurs, adds Orms. They will be sharing all things from managing your business' finances and building the right financial habits from the get-go.
Orms concludes that whether you're a professional looking to explore or just starting on your creative journey, GoLive! 2025 is your gateway to the future of content creation.
