Sentech to Present Broadband, Towers, Data Centres, Academy and FreeVision Play at GovTech 2026 in Durban (21–23 September 2026)

Held under the theme “Building Towards Digital Sovereignty: South Africa as Architect of its Digital Destiny for Citizens,” GovTech 2026 brings together government, industry and technology stakeholders to engage on the infrastructure, innovation and partnerships required to advance digital transformation and inclusive access.
Sentech’s participation will demonstrate how its diverse business capabilities contribute to a connected digital ecosystem. Visitors to the exhibition stand will have an opportunity to engage with representatives and explore capabilities across Broadband, Infrastructure, Sentech Academy and its Media business, including FreeVision Play.
Showcasing Sentech’s Business Capabilities
Broadband
Sentech’s Broadband business will showcase its connectivity capabilities and the role of broadband infrastructure in supporting digital access for government, businesses, institutions and communities. The showcase will highlight the importance of reliable connectivity in enabling participation in the digital economy and access to digital services.
Infrastructure
The Infrastructure business will highlight Sentech’s towers, data centre facilities and related digital infrastructure services. These capabilities form part of the broader infrastructure ecosystem supporting connectivity, service delivery and the increasing demands of a digitally enabled society.
Sentech Academy
Sentech Academy will showcase its contribution to skills development and the importance of building digital capabilities to support South Africa’s evolving technology landscape. Its work reflects the role of knowledge, training and human capital development in strengthening the country’s digital transformation journey.
Media, including FreeVision Play
Sentech’s Media business will showcase its media and content delivery capabilities, including FreeVision Play, powered by Sentech. These capabilities demonstrate how content delivery and digital platforms can contribute to expanding access to information, entertainment and services, while supporting the evolving digital media ecosystem.
Sentech’s participation reflects its evolving role as a digital infrastructure and connectivity company, supporting the delivery of connectivity, content and digital services through its diverse business capabilities.
