This year, Kfm 94.5 accepts donations to members of the TLC Party as it collects blankets, scarves and beanies to provide warmth for children in need, and to support vital beneficiaries across the Western Cape, says Kfm 94.5.
Tracey Lange, the host of Kfm 94.5's weekday Mid-Mornings show, is rallying her listeners to support the cause. The TLC Party is based on community spirit and giving back — whether it's new, gently used or handmade items, every donation counts, says the station.
Individuals are encouraged to join the TLC movement through the nearest drop-off points, during business hours and until Tuesday, 15 July, which include:
- Preferred Solutions: 3 Gardner Williams Ave, Somerset West

The TLC Party members have chosen a wide range of beneficiary organisations, ensuring that all donations reach those who need them most, says the station.
These organisations include:
- Patch-Helderberg Child Abuse Centre
- Cupcakes of HOPE
- The Homestead
- Shirley Giving Hands
- Badisa
- Helderberg Uitreik
- Ikamva Labantu, and
- Stellenbosch Youth Outreach.
On Friday, 18 July, in celebration of Mandela Day, all collected items will be distributed to selected organisations dedicated to supporting children in need.
"At Kfm, we believe in the power of community and the joy of giving back. The TLC Party is our way of uniting our listeners in a meaningful cause that truly makes a difference," concludes Hennie Myburgh, Kfm 94.5 Station Manager. "Let's come together to ensure that no child feels the chill this winter."
