Entries Open For The Rip Curl Gromsearch Port Alfred presented by the Royal St Andrews Hotel and supported by Sea Harvest

East Beach, Port Alfred - arguably the most popular Surfing South Africa junior surfing event of the year, the Rip Curl GromSearch Port Alfred, will take place over the Easter Weekend of 18th -20th April at East Beach in Port Alfred. Entries are open and will fill up quickly, so competitors are advised to get their entries in as soon as convenient.
The Rip Curl GromSearch Port Alfred is in its third year and is an anchor event for the Port Alfred Easter Festival, the multi-sports, cultural and music festival that takes place every year over the Easter weekend in Port Alfred.
The Port Alfred event features U12, U14, U16 and U18 Boys and Girls divisions. The Rip Curl GromSearch contests are all premier SAST events, with 1,000 points going to the winners and prize money per all premier events.

The Rip Curl GromSearch Series 2025 comprises four contests. These occur at Long Beach, Port Alfred, Dairy Beach in Durban and Seal Point in Cape St Francis. Series winners are decided on the best three results out of the four tournaments. The Premier U16 Girls and Boys division winners will win an entry into the Rip Curl GromSearch International Finals, the venue still to be disclosed.
