Indeed, South Africa has experienced rapid institutional changes. With peace restored, South Africa has moved away from a centrally planned economy to a market-oriented economy. Skills Development Grant for NYDO

{pp}This Poverty Relief Programme will empower the youth to foster self-reliance and become self-sustainable through provision of economic empowerment & vocational skills.

The project is funded by a $50,000 grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation of South Africa.

Small Business Skills provide the youth with Life Skills, Job Hunting Skills, Basic Computer Skills & Small Business Skills over a period of one-year to increase independence, self-reliance and to escape a cycle of poverty.

“These trainings will instill confidence and build their self-esteem, preparing them for the job market and will also give them skills to start their own business”.
