Laerskool De Tyger is ’n gevestigde laerskool in Parow, Kaapstad, wat sedert 1965 deel vorm van die gemeenskap. Die skool bied tans Afrikaans-medium onderrig van Graad RR tot Graad 7 en fokus op die holistiese ontwikkeling van elke leerder binne ’n sterk waardegedrewe raamwerk. Waardes soos eerlikheid, integriteit, selfdissipline, verantwoordelikheid, lojaliteit en respek vorm die grondslag van die skool se kultuur. De Tyger is trots op ’n veilige, gesinsgeoriënteerde omgewing wat geanker is in Christelike waardes, waar elke kind geken en ondersteun word om sy of haar volle potensiaal te bereik – akademies, sportief en kultureel. Benewens ’n sterk akademiese program bied die skool ook inisiatiewe soos ’n koderingsklub om leerders vir ’n tegnologiegedrewe wêreld toe te rus. Vanaf 2027 sal ’n Engelse Graad R- en Graad 1-klas ook aangebied word.
