South African skincare brand recognised for its industry-leading approach to professional education and training
Lamelle Research Laboratories has been named the 2026 Best Product House for Training, following an overwhelming vote of confidence from industry professionals and followers of the South African Association of Health and Skin Professionals (SAAHSP).
The award recognises Lamelle’s ongoing commitment to professional education, with its specialised training programmes for stockists, therapists and skincare professionals setting the brand apart within the industry. What makes the recognition particularly significant is the scale of the win. Lamelle received almost 50% more votes than any other brand in the category, making it not simply a win, but an emphatic endorsement of the brand’s approach to education and training.
The announcement celebrated Lamelle’s Medical Training Manager, Karen Bester, whose role has been instrumental in driving the brand’s training excellence. “Training is so much more than simply teaching someone about a product,” says Bester. “It is about giving professionals the knowledge, confidence and understanding to make informed decisions and ultimately provide their clients with the best possible skincare experience. We are incredibly proud of the response to our training, and to know that professionals value what we are doing is incredibly rewarding.”
Lamelle’s training programmes are designed to provide stockists and therapists with an in-depth understanding of the science behind its products, ingredients and technologies. By combining scientific knowledge with practical application, the training aims to ensure that professionals are equipped to confidently recommend and use Lamelle products within their practices. The award reflects feedback that the Lamelle team hears regularly from professionals within the industry – from comments about how “fabulous” the training is to praise for its effectiveness and relevance.
For Lamelle, the recognition is ultimately a celebration of the people behind the brand. “We are incredibly proud of Karen and our entire team of trainers, product specialists and in house team,” says Bradley Wagemaker, Lamelle Research Laboratories Medical Director. “Our commitment has always been to provide professionals with credible, meaningful education that goes beyond the product itself. To have our industry recognise that commitment through this award is an honour.”
Being voted 2026 Best Product House for Training is more than an accolade – it reflects the trust professionals place in Lamelle and its commitment to helping them deliver exceptional results for their clients.
