SARF congratulates new Ministry of Transport leaders
Submitted by: Tobie Ueckermann Save to InstapaperRegarding the latest cabinet reshuffle announced by President Jacob Zuma on Tuesday, the South African Road Federation (SARF) wishes to congratulate former Public Enterprises Deputy Minister Ben Martins with his appointment as new minister of transport as well as his deputy Ms. Sindisiwe Chikunga (former health professional and current the chair of Parliament’s portfolio committee on police).
We look forward to working with the new incumbents in meeting the challenges in the transport industry, in particular those related to the Gauteng e-toll project and the decade of action for road safety (DoAfRS).
The SARF wish them good luck in their new roles and offer them the Federation’s and the wider roads industry’s unreserved support in meeting these challenges with a newfound vigour.
