Mokopane, Limpopo – 07 July 2026.
Acclaimed Milanese deep house DJ and producer duo Harley & Muscle, consisting of William Cataldo and Flavio Romaniello, will celebrate 30 years in the electronic music industry with their only African performance at Vinyl Camp 2026, on 2-4 October 2026.
The exclusive appearance marks the duo's only confirmed performance on the continent during their milestone year.
While in South Africa, Harley & Muscle will not perform at any other event, making the October performance an exclusive opportunity for African audiences to celebrate three decades of music with the internationally respected artists.
Celebrating 30 Years of Electronic Music
For more than 30 years, Harley & Muscle have established themselves as influential figures in the global deep house scene.
Their soulful productions, DJ sets and releases through respected labels, including Little Angel Records, have earned them recognition across Europe and beyond, making them one of Italy's most enduring electronic music exports.
Their decision to mark the occasion in South Africa reflects the growing international profile of the country's vinyl and house music community, as well as the increasing recognition of independent music platforms that celebrate analogue sound and authentic music culture.
"This is about more than bringing international artists to South Africa," says Victor "Duplay" Mashitoa, founder of Vinyl Camp.
"It is a celebration of music without borders. Harley & Muscle have spent three decades building a remarkable legacy, and the fact that they have chosen to celebrate that milestone with our community is both humbling and significant. It speaks to the respect that South Africa's vinyl culture continues to earn internationally."
About Vinyl Camp 2026
Now in its 13th edition, the annual gathering has evolved from a small community event into South Africa's only vinyl-only music and lifestyle retreat.
In 2025, it attracted more than 1 500 attendees, with visitors travelling from across South Africa as well as Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Namibia.
This year's edition is also expected to welcome guests from Europe, reinforcing its growing reputation as a platform for cultural exchange through music.
Beyond the performances, the event has become known for celebrating vinyl culture, supporting independent DJs and collectors, and contributing to cultural tourism in Limpopo by attracting visitors from across Southern Africa.
Harley & Muscle's appearance is expected to be one of the highlights of the 2026 programme and marks another step in strengthening cultural connections between South Africa and the international electronic music community.
As Vinyl Camp prepares to welcome guests from across Southern Africa and beyond, one thing is certain: this October, the global vinyl community will have its eyes on Limpopo.
