Johannesburg; 25 March 2022: As we head into Autumn with swimming season behind us and as we look for things to do with the kids these April holidays, the much loved Rand Show returns with loads of fun activities for a great outing. 

Along with a popular farm experience, the kids can enjoy an interactive, fun, learning experience at Mobilezoo. These animals are rescues or surrendered pets, and the team highlights the pros and cons of keeping animals as pets, helping audiences make informed decisions and sharing how to care for animals properly. The area is open all day with three live shows per day and is free for visitors.

Other free activities include an ice-skating rink with DJ; six baking and making sessions a day where children get to decorate cupcakes and ice Gingerbread men; a Beacon Putt-Putt course with spot prizes of delicious Beacon chocolate Easter treats to enjoy, and Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants making four stage appearances a day.

When the kids need a break and a bite to eat, head to the food court, where the stage is jam-packed with hourly entertainment. 

Of course, not to be forgotten is the fun fair – appealing to young and old alike. Tickets for the rides can be purchased on site.

Coming to Nasrec in the week of 13 to 18 April 2022. This year’s event promises to provide a great family day out – much needed by us all after the past couple of years.
