These are the individuals who quietly dedicate themselves to building better lives for their families and communities. A Legacy of Support and Recognition
Over the years, Firstwatch Whisky has demonstrated its commitment to recognising and rewarding hardworking South Africans. Through initiatives like the ‘Firstwatch Whisky Entrepreneur's Challenge’, the brand has provided entrepreneurs with much-needed support, including hands-on experiential learning from the country's leading business experts. At these workshops, entrepreneurs pitched their business ideas to a panel of judges, with the winner receiving cash and business support for their existing or start-up businesses.
Previous winners continue to engage as brand ambassadors for Firstwatch Whisky, supporting new initiatives such as the ‘Here’s To Those’ campaign.
Celebrating Everyday Heroes
The new initiative aims to honour those individuals who work tirelessly behind the scenes to improve their communities. Those who often go unrecognised will now have the chance to be celebrated and rewarded. Prizes include the opportunity to win a home renovation worth R150,000 as well as a share of R250,000 worth of building materials from BuidIt.
