Watch multi-platinum selling and award-winning singer Lira take on the Dance of Brave
Submitted by: MyPressportal TeamMulti-platinum selling and 11-time South African Music Award-winning Afro-Soul artist Lerato Moipone Molapo, better known by her stage name Lira, is stepping up to take on the Dance of Brave challenge. After kicking off her music career in 2003 with her debut album All My Love, the young starlet earned accolades at the Metro FM Awards, South African Music Awards and Channel O Reel Music Awards with this first release.
Since then, Lira has skyrocketed in the industry to full superstardom with an impressive list of accomplishments and awards to her name. In 2015, she was listed by Forbes Magazine as one of the richest female singers in Africa with a net worth of over $35 Million and is currently one of the coaches of The Voice South Africa.
As for what bravery means to Lira, this is what she had to share...
‘Brave’ means doing the things that you feel like doing, the things that you want to do, or things that you believe in – in spite of having fear, doubt, or even having other people disagree with you. So, not needing approval – even if it’s scary, you do it anyway. For me, ‘bravery’ and ‘courage’ are very similar – so, irrespective of the circumstances you still do what you believe.
