Johnson & Johnson has announced a significant update to its brand in South Africa, uniting its two business segments under the Johnson & Johnson name. This rebranding marks a pivotal step in the Company’s journey to advance healthcare solutions globally.
By aligning its pharmaceutical and medical technology segments under one umbrella, Johnson & Johnson aims to harness its expertise in innovative medicine and medtech to treat complex diseases with smarter, less invasive, and more personalised patient care.

Moving forward:
- Janssen, the pharmaceutical segment, will be known as Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine.
- The medical technology segment will continue as Johnson & Johnson MedTech.
This global rebranding initiative, first announced in September 2023, positions the Company as a unified leader in healthcare innovation.
