Ster-Kinekor is thrilled to announce the exclusive screening of GRAMMY®-winning Icelandic-Chinese artist Laufey’s debut concert film, A Night at the Symphony: Hollywood Bowl. This extraordinary musical event will be shown for two screenings only on 6 and 8 December 2024 at Ster-Kinekor Eastgate in Johannesburg and Ster-Kinekor V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.

A Captivating Cinematic Experience

Laufey’s A Night at the Symphony: Hollywood Bowl, directed by Sam Wrench (Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour), takes audiences on a mesmerising musical journey. Filmed in her adopted hometown of Los Angeles, Laufey performs alongside the legendary Los Angeles Philharmonic at the iconic Hollywood Bowl, a venue graced by her jazz idol, Ella Fitzgerald.

Featuring Laufey’s distinctive fusion of jazz, pop, and classical influences, the concert showcases her emotional depth and powerful vocals, set against stunning visuals and the grandeur of the Hollywood Bowl.

Laufey, described as a "Gen Z It Girl" by The New York Times, has risen to international stardom with her trailblazing blend of jazz and classical music.
