Valentines x3 at Kurland Hotel

The 5 star Kurland Hotel, situated in the Crags near Plettenberg Bay, a proud member of the Relais & Châteaux Association, unveils its signature Valentine’s Day dinner menu created by award-wining Executive Chef, Leon Coetzee who this year has created a 4 course menu to enjoy at just R490.00 per person at the Kurland Hotel restaurant. On arrival each guest will receive a glass of Cap Classique and the ladies a Kurland rose.

This signature menu begins with artichoke and cannellini bean ravioli with sautéed bean sprouts, hazelnuts and a broisan and soya foam followed by a glazed fillet of beef, chanterelle mushrooms and mille feuille of potato and thyme with infused truffle jus, then on to salted cod fritters with a micro herb salad and a pink aioli sauce.

For dessert, a white chocolate and marshmallow spring roll with passion fruit and rose water soup will be presented, which is sure to warm the heart.

Valentines High Tea on the Kurland verandah at 15:00 – 17:00 day visitors can enjoyed a bountiful High Tea which consists of various sandwiches, salmon tartlets, spring rolls, spinach and feta quiche, Irish coffee cake, rose cup cakes, homemade scones with jams and creams, heart shaped biscuits and assorted homemade biscuits with various teas and coffee at a cost of R150.00 per person.

Guests dining at Katarina’s bistro for lunch will be presented with a complimentary Kir Royale to mark this special occasion.

This is also the perfect time to wander through the famous rose gardens on the Estate, an ideal romantic setting and location to perhaps pop the question and plan your wedding or honeymoon.
