The recent official launch of the 2022 Rand Show was met with enthusiasm and excitement after a two-year drought of fun and family events. Following a hiatus due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Rand Show will return to Nasrec during the week of 13-18 April 2022.
At the event – hosted by Adele Hartdegen, CEO of the Rand Show and Craig Newman, Head of Communications Rand Show, and presented by Boki Ntsime, a host of activities were announced that promise to provide an entertaining day out for South African families.
Back by popular demand is the Rand Show Live Music Concert (from Friday 15 April to Monday 18 April). The festival features a star-studded line-up of South Africa’s most popular performers, with two A-list artists per day in the Main Arena.
The Indoor Market is great for DIY and craft enthusiasts, those looking for kids and baby products and natural health. A Kids Zone will keep the little ones entertained, including daily shows by Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants. Car enthusiasts can visit the automotive display, while home lovers can explore the garden and home, decor, and cooking exhibits.
A new Travel display was also announced. Featuring local and international exhibitions, set to excite visitors and encourage travel post COVID.
These are simply some of the activities available and on display. So don’t miss one of South Africa’s favourite family events.
