Playground to holidaymakers, jetsetters and sunseekers, Camps Bay is renowned for its magnificent location at the foot of the Twelve Apostles mountain range – and now also for having a Starbucks with a one-of-a-kind view.
Starbucks Camps Bay offers visitors and locals alike a delicious and wide-ranging ‘something for everyone’ menu, world-class service from the skilled and knowledgeable partners, as Starbucks baristas are known, and a comfortable and friendly place to get together.
Adrian Maizey, CEO of Rand Capital Coffee, the licensee of Starbucks in South Africa, says this store brings together two dream destinations for coffee lovers from around the world. “The store design reflects everything special about both the brand and Camps Bay – it features an ocean-inspired colour scheme, spectacular murals by local artist, Justin B, and two outdoor terraces to soak in the uniquely Camps Bay ambience.”
Starbucks in the ‘village’ of Camps Bay caters for both tourists and locals, and is the epitome of what Starbucks stands for – a neighbourhood gathering place grounded in exceptional coffee.
The new Starbucks Camps Bay store is the eighth store to open in South Africa in just four weeks – with five in Cape Town, one in Stellenbosch, and one each in Johannesburg and Pretoria, bringing the total number of Starbucks stores in South Africa to 24. The four other Cape Town stores that have opened since mid-November are in Victoria Wharf on the V&A Waterfront, Cavendish Square, Tyger Valley Shopping Centre, and Canal Walk Shopping Centre.
Customers are invited to visit the store to enjoy the Starbucks Holiday menu including a wide selection of handcrafted seasonal beverages. Starbucks coffee is 99% ethically sourced and accredited by Conservation International under the C.A.F.E. Practices programme.
