SPAR Carols by Candlelight with Jacaranda FM is back, celebrating 22 years of festive cheer with the heartfelt theme, “Home for Christmas”. This beloved South African tradition will light up Pretoria’s SunBet Arena at Time Square on 5 December with live performances from some of the country’s biggest stars, uniting people both in person and online for an unforgettable evening.

In a world-class celebration of carols and storytelling, Jacaranda FM and SPAR invite everyone to join the festivities. Tickets for the live event are priced at R75, with only 7,500 seats available—so act quickly! For those who prefer to join from home, unlimited streaming access allows you to gather friends and family and enjoy the magic wherever you are.

All proceeds from ticket sales and donations will support Good Morning Angels and Santa’s Shoebox, bringing joy to over 1,000 children in need with a special Christmas gift. “Last year, we raised a record-breaking R500,000 and united 70,000 carollers worldwide. This year, we aim to raise even more!” says Deirdre King, Managing Director of Jacaranda FM.
