May 2013- The 5-star Kurland Hotel, a proud member of the Relais & Châteaux Association, in the Crags, Plettenberg Bay, celebrates Mother’s Day at Katarina’s restaurant in true culinary style on Sunday 12 May from 12:30 onwards. At just R250 for adults and R150 for kids, guests can enjoy an exquisite buffet lunch, rose cupcakes and biscuits as well as a bouquet of Kurland roses for each Mom and pony rides for kids. Guests may treat their mothers at the Kurland spa with special offers on Dr Hauschka facials.
The Mother’s Day buffet consists of roasted lamb with garlic rosemary served with spring onion crepes, cumin and chilli roast potatoes dressed with mint yoghurt dressing, crispy Norwegian salmon marinated with lemon grass and served with cucumber strips and rice, wine vinegar dressing avocado Ritz, grilled sirloin sliced and smothered in green peppercorn and Rosemary dressing. A selection of organic vegetables and salads are also on the extensive menu.
